LOVE JUST LIKE IN MOVIES by C. Aguila

A maid fell-in-love with her widowed boss with 3 children and they got married. An aisle full of red rose petals, heavenly and magical music, dim lights, perfect venue; set up for a proposal. Best friends fell-in-love with each other, they fought, they had separate ways and meet again and realize they still love each other and had love for the second time around. Do they sound familiar? Have this ever been real? Have you pictured it out and saw it somewhere? Maybe impossible situations but yes, it can be real. In movies and in real life, it is certain that people are chasing what they really want and what they know is good for them. At the end of the day it is love. Real Love.


At Saint Therese of the Child Jesus Church, a hundred fifty of people or so witnessed the happily ever after love story of Sheena Licarte and Ronnie Tapeno ; the love story which is evidence that we are able to love just like in movies; a love that been through ups and down and still keep on holding on. These couple shared their love and appreciation to their loved ones, friends and relatives with a gathering at Lima Park Hotel with the help of the Wedding Department by LTN. The team made possible that Sheena and Ronnie Tapeno’s wedding was a blissful day with smiles in their faces.


What makes this wedding unique is the pinoy movie themed wedding. Patterned from the popular movie “A Very Special Love”, the concept then drawn as “A Very Special Wedding”. Ronnie and Sheena made all the short videos from the opening teaser, their love story, and couple of funny videos they adapted from popular pinoy movies. The reception program started with the couple’s duet that already set the mood. If there will be one word to describe the reception program, it is FUN. Impressively, most of the guests finished the three hour program too.
